TP-Link MC111CS is a media converter for fast Ethernet networks over fiber, in which the source can go as far as 20 km. It mostly streams data wirelessly on a single-mode fiber using 10/100Mbps. It also allows a fiber interface adapter to be plugged into the copper jack of the network device which in turn connects to the fiber transceiver. The CIP (Customer Installation Point) networks are also having this computer-to-carrier type of connection. The radio frequency filters can be adjusted with the transmitter.
